Our Personal Story

Ane He answered and said, "Have you not read, that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, "For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become on flesh?" Consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined togehter, let no man separate."

We are Linda and Lewis Valentine.

Our story together began over 30 years ago in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lewis was born and raised in the Atlanta area for most of his life.

At the time we met he was in the military and stationed in South Carolina.

Linda was born and raised in central Virginia.

After her high school graduation she came to Atlanta, Georgia for further education.

Without getting her degree she got something much more wonderful.

Now how did they met you might ask.

Well an old friend of Linda's set up a blind date with Lewis (and other couple Linda didn't know).

From there on the Lord had it planned (Well, He had it planned even before that.).

After about 9 months we became husband and wife, and happily so.

We have made our home in the Atlanta area for the years since, with frequent

trip to Virginia to visit family and friends.

We have one wonderful son and a beautiful daughter-in-law whom we love very much.

We also share our home with Lewis' father and our two babies (our cats - Liter and Little Bit).

And if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
